classic question

why you chose to marry at a young age when you still can be free and do the things you like without having to think about a husband and children?
an old and classic question. guess what? yesterday, my friend asked me this question (again).
i've answered this question many times since i got married last year.

well, the answer is still the same, i want to speed up my happiness. how?
simple!
for me, happiness is build a happy family. without worry about cliche things like, young age, wealth, or maybe popularity. in the end, everybody (or just me, no?) want a true happiness.
feeling loved, that's an important thing. for me, happiness is having a husband as your friend, bestfriend, partner, and also as a bodyguard to define the limits in everyday acts.
this limitation will make our lives more purposeful, no time wasted just to enjoy the youth. as everybody know that will end up sooner or later.
and then, having children. seeing them grow up, have a lover, and finally got married.
it is a happiness that I want to see straight before i was too old.

if you could start your happy life since you were young, why wait until you're old?
God always be with us, so why worry?
it might sound very classic. but that's my answer ;p

dear lovely people, have a good friday!

Rhythm From Mars!!

re-open some folders on my laptop, and found this rhythm from mars recordings. (yaaaaayness!)
yes, last year we become one of the finalist of jazz competition (road to java jazz 2011). rhytm from mars arguably an impromptu band, we only practice two times to attend this event. never collaborated before, me (vocal) Lala (guitar) Bangs (guitar) just want to try our luck. and the yes, we are the luckiest group!, we got to the third position. hahaha

long story short, after that event, there are some gig offers to us, but unfortunately our group has only a "very-short-time-life".  i have to concentrate to my wedding's things, and getting ready to move to Jakarta, lala, she also decided to move to Jakarta to go to college here ( yea, she is very young and talented girl), and then bangs also want to try their luck and moved to Jakarta and work here last year.

short, very short, but quite enjoyable. we really enjoy our perform and our practice time together, RFM was a place to share our hobby, as you may know we love Jazz so much. well, me think that's more than enough. tha's all about us :p

and this is one of RFM's live recording. taken from  final night road to JavaJazz  2011 at Fort Rotterdam. Recorded by indra avisenna (thanks a lot!). this recording bringing me back to last year. oooh memoriess :')
time can'tt be stopped, but it can be documented.
i hope you enjoy it :)

first anniversary

one year passed so quickly!!!
we learned many things, how to share, to understand, support each other. and that's absolutely not easy to do. the hardest part is when we have to control our selfish sense and our anger. as you may know, marriage isn't always beautiful like in every romantic movie. there are some hard times, quarrels, disagreements. but it all teaches us how to apologize and forgive quickly. having a baby is also one of the best part in our life stage, but sometimes we feel tired, upset, even angry to her. but then again, it teaches us how to be more patient, and responsible. it's only few steps to be more mature. there's a lot of steps to go. nd we are going through it together. yes, together :)

You give me hope
The strength the will to keep on
No one else can make me feel this way
And only you
Can bring you all the best I can do
I believe you turn the tide
And make me feel real good inside

You pushed me up
When I'm about to give up
You're on my side when no one seems to listen
And if you go
You know the tears won't help but show
You'll break this heart and tear it apart
Then suddenly the madness starts

It's your smile, your face, your lips that I miss
Those sweet little eyes
That stare at me and make me say
I'm with you through all the way
'Cause it's you, who fills the emptiness in me
It changes everything, you see
When I know I've got you, with me

happy anniversary, love!
love you now and thousand years more

two months old

have i told you that i loved you?
before i could see your little face,
before i could hold your little fingers,
and before i could smell your mouth.
i never thought to love you like this,
i'm addicted to your smile,
your gentle cuddles.

i fell in love with you, so much.
that makes me worried,
worried that my heart wouldn't large enough to keep this feeling
because every time i hold and kiss you,
i could feel the feeling grow, more and more.

baby, you are a miracle
sent from heaven

 with so much love,
your mom

it's a pie again

goodmorning weekend!
what you guys doing there?
i'm (of course) taking care of shofi and her father while enjoying meals (whatever meal is it) ;p
if you do nothing, i'll share a recipe of a cheesy pie that i made two days ago
simple but taste sooo good, you could combine the cheese like cheedar or parmesan (i prefer parmesan) but if you got cheedar on your kitchen it's ok.

for pie base
450gr of flour
300gr butter
grated cheedar 100g (or) 70gr grated parmesan

inside the pie
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can water (use your can of sweetened condensed milk)
6 eggs

well, let's begin
preheat oven 180 degrees
mix dough skin (by hand or using a food processor)
i don't have a food processor so i mix the dough by my hand. knead all ingredients until smooth and can be formed. put into a pie pan. put some margarine into your pie pan and flatten the dough on the pan. make sure your dough cover all over the pan.
next step,
mix (with tablespoon) the water, milk and eggs then add to the base dough. better to use a strainer when pouring it to the dough, so the egg doesn't clot when you bake it. you can put some grated cheese on the top as garnish. bake for approximately 40 minutes until the base dough crisp.

note: this recipe for make two pie pan, i just wanted to make one pan, so i only use half of the ingredients and only two eggs. easy 'aite?

and here is the result....
