it's a CAKE again!

life is getting confusing lately. sometimes i can't feel my feet on the ground. phew.
fortunately i still have the chance to baking some cakes. mid-night or early morning or sometimes when shofi taking a nap.
baking is like a therapy these days. i enjoy the time i melt the butter, mix the flour, beat the eggs, fold the batter and of course the best part is always the eating part. and since i've lost weight continuously these months, i have more reasons to eat sweets. well, who would refuse a piece fresh-from-the-oven cake? it's absolutely not me!

oh well, now i'll share a recipe that i copied from here,
this cake is very easy and simple to make and taste so good, soft and moist.
is there anything better than that?
i topped this cake with buttercream frosting and fresh strawberries.
so, if you have spare time and want to make a simple cake, this is the recipe you're looking for.

you will need
1 cup natural yoghurt
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
½ cup oil
3 eggs
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

how to make

mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F),
line the bottom of a round 25-cm (10-inch) cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a cake tester comes out clean.

and oh, hello there!

so i hope you enjoy the recipe, and have a great weekend! ;)
