stay calm, mommies.

"hamil kan? kok masih menyusui? ga kasian sama adeknya diperut?"
"kok anakmu kurusan?"
"anakmu gendut banget, sufor ya?"
"kamu kan dirumah aja, enak ya ga usah berangkat ke kantor."
"kok umur segini belum dikasih makan?"
"sudah besar, kenapa anaknya belum disekolahin, nanti bla bla bla"
"lahiran lagi? kan kakaknya masih kecil-kecil"

Bismillah,

Berbicaralah jika dimintai masukan. Because, the end of the day, ibu yang baik bukanlah ibu yang baik dimata semua orang, tapi ibu yang baik dimata anak-anaknya.

We are all need supports. Jangan malu tanya-tanya, cari info.

Sebenarnya jadi ibu itu ga muluk-muluk sih, at least for me.

happy weekend!

rain is a good sign

it's been raining lately. for me the rain always brings fond memories dancing in mind. it's like the sky missed the ground, then it send water droplets to answer the longing. romantic. and, did i ever tell you that i do love the smell of the wet land the after the rain? one of the best smell in the whooole world :D

i've passed a couple of afternoons just by watching the rain behind my window, sitting on my bed accompanied by a glass of hot tea or coffee with some bread or cookies while watching my babygirl sleeping with her favourite blanket with raindrops as the backsound. i think we all agree, rain is a blessing, rain is a good sign :')

sunday is almost over here, and i'm still waiting for my hubby to come home from work. yes, sunday and work what a productive weekend, huh? today, i overheard some people said that I love my hubby right out loud, then let me say this, "when i love, i love fully".

anyway i'm writing this post after eating a big plate of spaghetti and now i'm munching oreos. i won't stop until monday. yes please? well then, i need to finish my oreos.
so, goodnight! ;p

time, hold on!

my early days have been focused on my works. i've prepared some sample of my baby stuff's project. i was busy with all of my routine activities as a wife and a mom, and thank God, i love it. my thirst for going out slowly fades. I've never been so excited to spend my time in the bedroom (as my workspace).

yesterday my mom took time to meet with us before taking flight to medan. we only met about 5 hours, but that's enough for daughter-grandson-and-grandmother's meeting. she'll come back here few days later before take another flight back to makassar. i kissed and hugged her. has been almost five months since we last met. she looks a little tired. when i asked her about it, she replied with "I am fine", and smiled. yes, she was fine. i mean, she looks ok, but five months is enough to add one or two wrinkles on her face :(

time flew. it feels like just a few days ago i was busy complaining about my college-life, was busy with morning briefing in the office, and have a lot of time laughing with my friends. but now, i have a new routine, i have a new life. i realize that time is not to be wasted. the time is running and nobody can't stop it. and a few minutes ago i found this sentence on twitter
"love your parents. we are so busy growing up, we often forget they are also growing old."
i kept repeating these words in my head for few minutes. and will continue to remember it as a reminder when i'm too busy with my own life.

and look! someone is also growing very fast. somebody please tell me, where's my little baby?

don't judge, please

sometimes, i let my brain put itself into silent mode
no matter how hard the problem or how things are hard to handle
keeping my brain in silence is my own version to solve the problem
it'll give my brain space to think quickly to deal with the problem
i'm not the kind of a rapid recovery person, i think a lot
i mean, in some cases my head felt like want to explode
that's why i give my brain a break sometimes
i know, you might imagine that i take my brain out of my head
and put it on the table while i sat in a place without it. haha NO!
i'm a kind of forgive-but-hard-to-forget person
no hard feelings or anything like that,
my brain just needs some extra-and-long-time to forget the memories perfectly
especially bad memories (no good for health, really)
every problem looks like a puzzle in my head,
which i have put my thoughts together correctly to find the right solution,
yes just like one, by one, by one (and repeat)
but at the end of every problem, i thank God that my heart usually (always) wins
that's why (as i said) it's okay to left my brain on my desk or somewhere and take a walk
because i know, the feeling never lie while logic sometimes do

well people i do not know exactly what i'm talking about right now
so, do not judge. please :')

Eid Mubarak

i celebrated Eid with my husband and daughter
an incredible happiness, really
although was little grief that we couldn't come together with our whole family in hometown
we spend the Eid with food, food, and more food
as i promised, i made pallubasa, sambal goreng ati, and opor ayam
it was good to have quality time with your loved ones
especially on the (long-awaited) victory day

and for you, who have read my blog until this post
i'd like to apologize for all the words and actions that might hurt
:)

Ramadan, i want to meet you again
don't come too late, we missed you already

three months old :)

i remember when you were in my belly
eat, and breathe with me
i could feel your move
i could feel your legs kicking me hard
i could feel our hearts beating in rhythm

three months ago you were born into this world,
i kissed your pink skin
i touched you for the first time
that was a love at the first sight

today,
i can hear your funny laughs
i can hear your gentle little cry
i can smell the fresh milk in your mouth
i can hold your little fingers
i can see your sleepy face with your half open eyes
i can kiss your chubby cheeks whenever i want
i can embrace you until you fall asleep

baby, i promise
i will give all the best thing for you
i will make sure you grow properly, and strong enough to face this crazy world
i will be a good listener of your stories
i will be your bestfriend in every problem you have
i will be your bodyguard in every step you take
i will be a free hugs machine to give you a lot of hugs as many as you need

and baby, listen to this
someday when you've grown and i'm angry with you
it's not that i want you to be sad
but because i really love you and i'm afraid of losing you
i'm afraid of losing my cute little babygirl

baby, believe me
i love you like a flower loves honey
i need you like the night sky needs stars
i want you to be mine till death do us part
so, don't be afraid to face this life
you're never be alone
there will always be hugs and warmth when you need it
there will always be you, in my every prayer

love,
mom

Keep Calm and Forget the Nightmare

awakened by a nightmare this morning, too bad for a lovely sunny morning
so, i open my laptop early than usual, look at some beautiful blogs and end up with updating mine.
thank God, i feel much more better now :)
it's few days before Eid, i hope you have a great day in Ramadan this year
i feel so blessed every day, good and bad things can make our life meaningful
let's called it life lessons.

i honestly don't know what to write right now, so i decided to write some things that make me smile and even laugh lately:

1. some of my friends are getting married! (a very much happiness)
2. one of my best friends @tatuw has successfully completed her final exam
(finally! proud of her)
3. shofi grew cheerful, has a weight gain that makes her cheeks more chubby
4. my husband spent his whole time off with us at home :') lovely
5. new tricks from shofi, such as laughing, and trying to speak
(a language that only God understand)
6. headband orders from some friends. it's happy to be back after a few months without any productive work (will tell you about my headband projects detail later)
7. phonecall from mom

see? i have a lot of reason to be happy, so why be afraid of bad dreams?
why don't make your 'happy' list too?
write them with a smile and get a good day!

and look! shofi say hi :D

lazy sunday

so what you guys doing on this sunday
i don't feel like going or even move my ass from the bed
my hubby still asleep, so does shofi
we didn't suhoor last night, i woke up, looked at the clock, oh God, it's 5 o'clock already
feel so depressed to realized that today will be a tough day of fasting

yesterday we took shofi for her immunization schedule,
we're out of luck. her doctor had gone home.
the nurse said we just few minutes late! zzz
rescheduled. again and again
on the way back home we thought, why not spend this weekend time at the mall?
what? yes, mall without stroller which it means we must hold shofi alternately
I was looking for glasses, hubby looking for shoes, but we ended up on a baby shop and bought some clothes, leggings and socks for shofi
oh this part of parenting,
i was enjoying my time on a baby shop rather than book store.
unfortunately i didn't bring my cam with me, so theres no photo of shofi's day out and my hubby's tired face.

well, i didn't fasting past few days caused by monthly period, so let me share what my camera got for breakfast this lately :p

how to lose weight after giving birth? this! :)))
a good morning from home :)

classic question

why you chose to marry at a young age when you still can be free and do the things you like without having to think about a husband and children?
an old and classic question. guess what? yesterday, my friend asked me this question (again).
i've answered this question many times since i got married last year.

well, the answer is still the same, i want to speed up my happiness. how?
simple!
for me, happiness is build a happy family. without worry about cliche things like, young age, wealth, or maybe popularity. in the end, everybody (or just me, no?) want a true happiness.
feeling loved, that's an important thing. for me, happiness is having a husband as your friend, bestfriend, partner, and also as a bodyguard to define the limits in everyday acts.
this limitation will make our lives more purposeful, no time wasted just to enjoy the youth. as everybody know that will end up sooner or later.
and then, having children. seeing them grow up, have a lover, and finally got married.
it is a happiness that I want to see straight before i was too old.

if you could start your happy life since you were young, why wait until you're old?
God always be with us, so why worry?
it might sound very classic. but that's my answer ;p

dear lovely people, have a good friday!

daydreamer ♥

mentally traveling, physically sleeping
adventurer of dreams
jump into sweetest honey, run around cheese castle, and dancing in the candy rain
personally talk to the moon, swim in the pink sea
pillow made from bread and coffee warm me as my blanket
I  rolled over the cotton full of strawberries
translating the language of the space
I have the wings with the speed of light, and eyes that could shine
a house full of love, with the chairs of the soft donut, and table of crispy toast
jasmine tea will come into bed every morning, complete with scrambled eggs
fresh youghurt in the afternoon, and hot chocolate as a bedtime friend
in the end of the dreams, I woke up with my husband beside me
and that's the lovely part of a long long dreams

now, I'm asking to myself
am I a dreamer?

life story. . .

Life story. They're growing every second, i share some, and save some. They were too quick to simply be forgotten. Sometimes too sweet to pass up, but very bitter to remember. Be thankful that you are alive, feel the wind, touch the water, taste the lamb, and smell your coffee. Just make sure you don't forget the beautiful parts that make your life brighter. Life is too beautiful to filled with sad stories. and I'm (still) learning to be brighter. Let's twinkle! :)
