it's a cinnamon rolls!

hello! this is a night update, i'm writing this while waiting for my hubby to come home from work
shofi already asleep, it means i have a little time to fulfill my promise
i'll share a cinnamon rolls recipe for you to make it tomorrow, maybe? :D
it seems many of you are curious to make this delicious bread rolls
these little rolls smells like heaven
the combination of freshly baked bread and cinnamon really, really, really pamper your nose

"Trust me, your self-control will disappear after you make these. They are completely irresistible. Just wait until you smell them baking! I want to bottle that scent and wear it forever."    -Sally

no one can resist a soft texture of bread filled with sugar-cinnamon-butter
i ended up with 3 rolls in a row. lol
i used a recipe from sallys baking addiction (thankyou so much for this amazing recipe)
the recipe is so easy to follow and her photos makes me want to lick my screen
so if you want to make some snacks to accompany your cup of coffee or tea,
this is a perfect recipe for you.

Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
recipe source:  sallys baking addiction

Ingredients:
Rolls
2 and 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 package Red Star Platinum Yeast (I used Fermipan)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup milk
2 and 1/2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1 large egg

Filling
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1 and 1/2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar

Coffee Glaze
1 cup powdered (confectioners') sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons strong coffee (or use milk/cream instead)

Directions:
Make the dough:
- Set aside 1/2 cup of flour. In a large bowl, toss the 2 and 1/4 cups flour, the sugar, salt, and yeast together until evenly dispersed. Set aside.

- Heat the water, milk, and butter together in the microwave until the butter is melted and the mixture is hot to touch. About 125F-130F degrees. Stir the butter mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and only enough of the reserved flour to make a soft dough. I only needed 1/3 cup, but you may need the full 1/2 cup. Dough will be ready when it gently pulls away from the side of the bowl and has an elastic consistency.

- On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 3-4 minutes. Place in a lightly greased bowl (I used non-stick spray) and let rest for about 10 minutes.

Make the filling:
- After 10 minutes, roll the dough out in a 14x8 inch rectangle. Spread the softened butter on top. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it all over the dough. Add more cinnamon/sugar if desired. Roll up the dough tightly. Cut into 11 even pieces and place in a lightly greased 9-inch round pan. I used a pie dish, lightly sprayed with nonstick spray. Loosely cover the rolls with aluminum foil and allow to rise in a warm, draft-free place for 60-90 minutes. Here is what I do: heat the oven to 200F degrees. Turn oven off. Place rolls inside oven and allow to rise.

- After the rolls have doubled in size, preheat the oven to 375F. Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned. I covered the rolls with aluminum foil after 15 minutes to avoid heavy browning.

Make the glaze:
- Right before serving, top your cinnamon rolls with glaze. Mix the powdered sugar and coffee together until smooth and drizzle over rolls. You may replace the coffee with milk or cream instead. If you prefer a thicker glaze, add more powdered sugar and then add salt to cut the sweetness, if desired.

i added some raisins because my hubby is a raisin-addict :p

iced coffee and cinnamon rolls. a perfect match!

super smooth texture. nyumm

how deep is your love?

been a long time until this new post. kinda busy with my little babygirl (she grew so fast!) and being a cheerleader for my husband. he just completed his examination.
Thank God, it's over and all we can do now is just pray for a good news :)

well, based on the title of this post, i'd like to ask you something. "how deep is your love?"
have you ever heard these words?  me? i heard it a lot. (maybe) many people asked their partner with that sentence, and all they want is just need to hear something sweet and heavenly words like "it's as deep as deepest sea" and bla and the bla. because people tend to hear something they want to listen.

i've asked this question (few times) to my hubby, actually. as a new couple, that question always sounded in my head everytime i saw him busy with his job or his game or his book. until i realized every people need their "me time".

but everytime i asked this stupid question, (as a woman) i always wanted a long and sweet words (which most of it i've already forgotten). but then i feel this is just a temporary feeling of pleasure.
i mean, sweet words isn't a guarantee of happy life, literally. i found so much happiness from every little thing he did in everyday life. like the way he throw me his wet towel after a bath, the way he sang our childhood song "susan, susan, kalau gede mau jadi apa?" or on every stupid jokes he made :))

i've been thinking about the meaning of love. and the answer is, love is a feeling of excitement. yes, it's all about feeling, i can't even describe it in words.
based on that thoughts, i realized, feeling sometimes rises and falls you can feel both happened within a very short time as a blink. but that is love, sometimes bright sometimes fade.
so, back to the point. for me, there will be no more such questions as "how deep is your love?",
love can't be said with words. you can only feel it. and i will not promise that i will love you forever,
because forever doesn't exist in this real world. it's better to promise a thing you'll fulfilling, rather than a sweet promise you'll be breaking.

these are some of my breakfast photos lately,

don't judge, please

sometimes, i let my brain put itself into silent mode
no matter how hard the problem or how things are hard to handle
keeping my brain in silence is my own version to solve the problem
it'll give my brain space to think quickly to deal with the problem
i'm not the kind of a rapid recovery person, i think a lot
i mean, in some cases my head felt like want to explode
that's why i give my brain a break sometimes
i know, you might imagine that i take my brain out of my head
and put it on the table while i sat in a place without it. haha NO!
i'm a kind of forgive-but-hard-to-forget person
no hard feelings or anything like that,
my brain just needs some extra-and-long-time to forget the memories perfectly
especially bad memories (no good for health, really)
every problem looks like a puzzle in my head,
which i have put my thoughts together correctly to find the right solution,
yes just like one, by one, by one (and repeat)
but at the end of every problem, i thank God that my heart usually (always) wins
that's why (as i said) it's okay to left my brain on my desk or somewhere and take a walk
because i know, the feeling never lie while logic sometimes do

well people i do not know exactly what i'm talking about right now
so, do not judge. please :')
